Expand Internet learning opportunities
All public schools in Osaka have been connected to the Internet since 2006 and have made large computer laboratories. Starting
listening libraries and video libraries for students learning English is
just the beginning. Schools
around the world currently share e-mail and video chat together. This is real language in real
context. Why can’t schools in Osaka make connections with schools in English speaking countries and practice English or even make friends? Imagine our students
able to interview a sports star or a pop singer and share it online. Even searching for an
international career could be done online. Full-time NETs could start pilot programs and once
successful, share it with other schools.
４、インターネット学習の機会を広げる
２００６年以来、大阪のすべての公立学校はインターネットを利用できるようになり、大きなコンピューター教室を持つようになりました。生徒の英語学習のためのリスニング、ビデオ図書館は始まったばかりです。世界中の学校が現在電子メイルやビデオを共有しています。これが現実の言葉です。大阪の学校はどうして、英語圏の学校と交流したり英語を試したり友達を作ったりしないのでしょう。生徒達が、英語でスポーツ選手や歌手にインタビューして、それをネットで公開できることを想像して下さい。国際的な職業もネットで探すことができるのです。正規雇用のNETは、実験的なプログラムをつくり他の学校と共用できます。
