Organize and direct English summer camps
Currently, no public high school has an English summer camp, but most private schools do. Private high school students get a boost from advanced fun summer activities, but Osaka-Fu high school students never get the opportunity.
Why do most
clubs meet in the summer but English clubs don’t? It’s because there are no full-time native English teachers
to sponsor the club and Japanese teachers are generally too busy. Current native English teachers only
work part-time so they cannot sponsor a club in their school and are not
covered by school insurance. It is
time to change this. Hire NETs
full time and let them work together to create interesting summer activities
for all high school students.

現在、英語学習のサマーキャンプを行っている公立学校はありません。私立学校の生徒は夏の楽しい諸活動から大きなものを得ていますが、公立学校の生徒にそのような機会はありません。夏に、ほとんどのクラブ活動があるのに、英語クラブはありません。というのは、監督する正規のNETがいないのと日本人の教員が忙しすぎるからです。現在、ネイティブの教員は非常勤で、したがってクラブの監督ができず学校保険の給付対象になっていません。今こそ正規のNETを雇い、すべての生徒を対象に夏期の特別活動を共に担いましょう。
