OFSET Union is requesting the intervention of the International Labour Organization to help improve the quality of English education in Osaka. The following documents and links will help you understand more about this work. The 1966 Recommendations lay the groundwork for international teaching standards. Each of the 146 recommendations is clear and concise and easy-to-read. This is essential reading material to understand the teaching profession in elementary and secondary schools from a global perspective.
OFSET has connected to the ILO and to two other groups. The first is ZENKYO union. The second is the Osaka Lawsuit Group, a group of Japanese teachers suing Osaka Fu Government in court.
