Union members join together to make a difference. OFSET is the only group legally, recognized by the Japanese government, to negotiate with the Osaka Fu Board of Education for issues concerning native English teachers. We negotiate for all native English teachers, similar to the teaching trade unions in our home countries. All points of view are welcome. Please join and let your voice heard.
The cost is only 6,000 yen for one year if paid between April 1st and June 15th of every year. After June 15th, union dues are 10,000 yen. Post office furikomi forms are sent to you at your base school in April. Or contact the OFSET Union General Secretary.
